Lifelong Mississippian Teresa Hubbard is President/CEO of CITE Armored, an armored truck manufacturing company based in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Teresa founded the company in 2002, and has expanded CITE Armored to become one of the largest women-owned companies in Mississippi.
Teresa is a graduate of South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi, later receiving her BBA from Delta State University with a double major in accounting and computer information systems. Teresa is a CPA and worked primarily in public accounting for 17 years prior to delving into the manufacturing arena. After years of successful leadership in her industry, Teresa began serving on the board of directors for the Independent Armored Car Operators Association, and her company is a member of the Secure Cash Transport Association.
Teresa has strong ties to Mississippi. As stated previously, she is a graduate of Delta State University she has two children who attend the University of Mississippi. Her son, Ben, is a second year medical school student at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Her daughter Elizabeth is a junior at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. Teresa is a passionate supporter of Mississippi’s young professionals. She participated as a judge for the International Business Model Competition at the University of Mississippi and was selected as a keynote speaker at the Delta State University International Business Symposium in 2017. Additionally, the company works closely with Mississippi State University Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS). CAVS assists CITE Armored on a regular basis with site master plans, effective print layout, and manufacturing process plans. Teresa currently resides in Oxford, Mississippi where she is an active alumna of Delta State University, Kappa Delta Sorority, and has recently been recognized by Mississippi Business Journal as a Top CEO as well as the Top Business Woman in Mississippi.
